Thank you leewardists school for coming up with this amazing course that has been equal parts insightful and meaningful. I would like to start by saying that i came across this course completely by accident and thought i would take a chance. For someone who has previously worked at an architectural firm and having dealt with a lot of execution drawings being composed day in and day out, I was taking this course only to see if i was doing things right with my personal portfolio and in part, to brush up on the skill. But, having attended this course, I have to say that this has far exceeded my expectations and has opened my eyes to the fact that there’s always ways to not just improve but to be good at developing a portfolio with ease. Something that also I didn’t expect was how target oriented this program really is. It has been set at 2 different time slots so that everyone from college goers to working people to those half way across the world, can join this webinar easily and all one needs to have is a video enabled device and internet. Unlike videos that one may come across on youtube etc., that may cover this topic in general, this is more apt since its conducted by people who have been in our place, people who know what a to be graduate/ freshly graduated/ looking to get into offices/masters do, when they’re trying to make a portfolio. Their comics show this fact of how lost architects can be, very well and that was one of the main motivating factor behind me giving this course a try.
That being said, Anuj (the mentor) is always on point with his advises, knows exactly how lost one can be in this process and is extremely patient with questions, be it silly, sarcastic, out of curiosity or very bluntly put. The content picks off right from the start with a lot of graphical representation and neither confuses nor leaves us feeling bored. There are exercises which are are evaluated, which adds to how much effort these guys are putting into imparting and sharing their knowledge. Questions are accepted through chat feature and answered at the end of the session for everyone to hear. For the forgetful ones, Leewardists sends out mails to remind us of the upcoming session, 1 day and 1 hour before commencement and links with recordings of the session as well as links to upload exercises are sent out after the session is complete.
Couple of things I would probably expect Leewardists to do at a later date would be (since they have been amazing at how much they are willing to share) 1. Share the presentation as course literature (maybe?) for the advantage of those who are kind of slow at taking down notes or would like to keep coming back to it as reference at a future date
2. Talk about changing careers (this could also be a separate course by itself?) in detail, even if it extends the number of sessions
3. Show portfolios that are bad examples (what not to do etc. and then pick off by saying thankfully we’re here to help you what to do)
All in all, a great course, well worth the time and money spent on it.

A rare of its kind & worthwhile “out-of-college” course that, firstly, opened up and normalized concepts beyond what we are conventionally taught at architectural schools.

I had an amazing experience with this webinar! I am sure this course will be extremely helpful for all fresh graduates, interns and people who are applying for their masters. All the lectures are designed and planned in a way it makes the portfolio making process easy to crack. All lectures were very informative and range from the right fonts and colors right upto the story boarding and cover page of the portfolio. Basically it includes the start to end of the entire folio and the folio making process. A lot of other tips and tricks are provided which will help the portfolio stand out.
