There’s a lot that can be learned from this course before starting to make a portfolio, irrespective of whether you have done it before or not. The information that is given is sequenced beautifully, with lots of visual aids and examples by people who definitely know what they are doing. The course took us through a detailed process before starting a portfolio, which makes the actual process of making it a lot less frightening. They are very patient with queries and meticulous in their approach to teach us what they know. Learning this way was a great experience.

This was my second course at the Leewardists School at a stretch! You get a learning experience which is revolutionary! Learnt a lot and got introduced to some new things in these three sessions. It was a fun visual learning session! The exercises were designed in such a way that subconsciously we get used to it and the lesson stays in our heads. And their methodological approach totally works! It gets us to work! Also, in the process, we don’t lose out on our individuality in our work and express better! The course was helpful.
Learning in a ‘terror free’ environment is fun with the super cool Anuj Sir! Don’t miss the little doses of motivating talks about life that he drops here and there. It’s therapeutic and surely motivates to do better! Thank you, Team Leewardists!

Thank you leewardists school for coming up with this amazing course that has been equal parts insightful and meaningful. I would like to start by saying that i came across this course completely by accident and thought i would take a chance. For someone who has previously worked at an architectural firm and having dealt with a lot of execution drawings being composed day in and day out, I was taking this course only to see if i was doing things right with my personal portfolio and in part, to brush up on the skill. But, having attended this course, I have to say that this has far exceeded my expectations and has opened my eyes to the fact that there’s always ways to not just improve but to be good at developing a portfolio with ease. Something that also I didn’t expect was how target oriented this program really is. It has been set at 2 different time slots so that everyone from college goers to working people to those half way across the world, can join this webinar easily and all one needs to have is a video enabled device and internet. Unlike videos that one may come across on youtube etc., that may cover this topic in general, this is more apt since its conducted by people who have been in our place, people who know what a to be graduate/ freshly graduated/ looking to get into offices/masters do, when they’re trying to make a portfolio. Their comics show this fact of how lost architects can be, very well and that was one of the main motivating factor behind me giving this course a try.
That being said, Anuj (the mentor) is always on point with his advises, knows exactly how lost one can be in this process and is extremely patient with questions, be it silly, sarcastic, out of curiosity or very bluntly put. The content picks off right from the start with a lot of graphical representation and neither confuses nor leaves us feeling bored. There are exercises which are are evaluated, which adds to how much effort these guys are putting into imparting and sharing their knowledge. Questions are accepted through chat feature and answered at the end of the session for everyone to hear. For the forgetful ones, Leewardists sends out mails to remind us of the upcoming session, 1 day and 1 hour before commencement and links with recordings of the session as well as links to upload exercises are sent out after the session is complete.
Couple of things I would probably expect Leewardists to do at a later date would be (since they have been amazing at how much they are willing to share) 1. Share the presentation as course literature (maybe?) for the advantage of those who are kind of slow at taking down notes or would like to keep coming back to it as reference at a future date
    2. Talk about changing careers (this could also be a separate course by itself?) in detail, even if it extends the number of sessions
    3. Show portfolios that are bad examples (what not to do etc. and then pick off by saying thankfully we’re here to help you what to do)
All in all, a great course, well worth the time and money spent on it.
Thanks guys, on behalf of the fresh ones that were attending the course with me, I think you guys, especially Anuj with his timely advises, are making it a tad bit easier for them to breathe after graduating.

It was definitely a worthy course. I mean it. couldn’t have been better than this. I mean it! It was well organized from Day 1 till last day. Also, each and every detail regarding portfolio and offices were explained as mentioned. Also, the best part was each and every session was candid about everything like how we should be designing our portfolios, what employers are exactly looking for right now, what sort of mails should be sent to an employer and why and when. This was really an eye-opener for me. This course can be attended by student of any year. The earlier you get to know all the facts ,the easier it will be when you start designing your portfolios. Also, your preconceived notions will change, for good. Thanks to the whole team for putting so much much effort in designing all these sessions. 🙂 All the best !

Before this course, I thought portfolio was just a compiling exercise with your best works, but after going through this course, it made me realize it is so much more, not only in terms of making a folio, but also understanding your forte and being determined for it. This course and the inspiring talks by Anuj sir, gave me a confidence that I can definitely do what i like. The course content is organised, detailed and very easy to understand. The sessions were so interactive (for introverts like me too, since the chat option was available in zoom XD ) it felt more than any other visual class. Totally worth it. Thank you team Leewardists, for giving me a direction, couldn’t have asked for more.

  12. Shravya Geetha (verified owner)

I would like to thank you for making the whole complex process so easy. I haven’t seen this in the last 5 years of my course but this money I paid was totally worth and I got a way new direction of thinking things through making things extremely easy to work with. So thankyou Leewardists for such an efficient course

  13. Keerthana G Prasad (verified owner)

This course was the truly the perfect combination of learning how to make the correct portfolio and how to go about searching the right office. The information got here was not something that could be easily gotten elsewhere. The tips and ideas of how to join the office we want and how to truly know what and where our interests lie in was fabulously and effortlessly put across to us. This very simple yet highly powerful course was a complete package that I got. All our queries was answered with so valuable answers and learnt something beyond the usual. Thank you so much for conducting the course. Looking forward to many such courses more. Cheers to the entire team of Leewardists! You did an excellent and perfect job. 🙂 🙂 🙂

A rare of its kind & worthwhile “out-of-college” course that, firstly, opened up and normalized concepts beyond what we are conventionally taught at architectural schools.
The entire team has surely taken considerable efforts- which has now helped me to perceive the portfolio as something beyond simply a compilation of academic work! It helped to broaden my vision and think and decide more insightfully- this by actually learning to streamline and channelize!
To conclude with the best and a very important aspect is that the course helped me to comprehend and identify with myself first in order to be able to navigate and discover the right workplace for myself!

Cheers and kudos to the team!

I had an amazing experience with this webinar! I am sure this course will be extremely helpful for all fresh graduates, interns and people who are applying for their masters. All the lectures are designed and planned in a way it makes the portfolio making process easy to crack. All lectures were very informative and range from the right fonts and colors right upto the story boarding and cover page of the portfolio. Basically it includes the start to end of the entire folio and the folio making process. A lot of other tips and tricks are provided which will help the portfolio stand out. I am now more confident in making the portfolio and applying to my dream job and masters university. This course also included the process of finding the right office and masters course that fits me and my forte. The class was very interactive and the hands on portfolio page composition helped me understand the story boarding process and to identify what kind of drawings should be chosen while composing the sheets. We were also given guidance with how to write our CV and cover letters in an impressive manner. Every single doubt no matter how big or small was solved. A big thank you to the team Leewardists for designing such an important and interesting course for us. Looking forward to attend other courses!

I love how this course teaches you things beyond your portfolio, things that are actually very important when you are in the process of making your portfolio, things that they DO NOT teach you in architecture school. I feel like this course was money very well spent as I feel like I have learnt some very important things! And the course was not monotonous at all, the visuals and Q&A sessions and quizzes made it a very fun learning process. If you are lost about what needs to be done, how to start making your portfolio, this course will surely help you! I would like to thank the Leewardists team for curating such a beautiful course 😀
